● 例会について

トーストマスターズクラブの会合は「例会」と呼ばれます。
新橋クラブの例会は月2回、第2・第4火曜日に行われます。

毎回行われることは次の５つです、

〈 テーブルトピックス〉
司会が即興のお題を出し、指名されたメンバーが時間内で答えるセッションです。
毎回4～5人が回答します。セッションが終わったら全員で投票をします。

〈 準備スピーチ 〉
スピーチを発表する場です。決められた時間に合わせて、メンバーがスピーチします。
聞いている人は終わってからコメント用紙に感想を記入し、最後に投票をします。

〈 論評 〉
スピーチに対して、論評者に指名されたメンバーが良かった点、改善点などを述べます。
聞いている人は最後に投票をします。

〈 総合論評 〉
総合論評者に指名されたメンバーは論評セッションの司会をするとともに、例会全体の良かった点、改善点を述べます。

〈 結果発表 〉
ベストテーブルトピックス賞、ベスト論評賞、ベストスピーチ賞の発表です。
表彰と写真撮影があります。

● ２次会
例会が終わったあとは、近所の居酒屋さんで２次会を行います（参加は任意です）。
さまざまな年齢、業種のメンバーを色々な話ができ、スピーチに関するアドバイスも聞けます。

About Regular Meetings

Toastmasters club meetings are called “regular meetings.
Shinbashi club meetings are held twice a month on the second and fourth Tuesday of the month.

There are five things that take place at each meeting,

Table Topics.
In this session, the host gives an impromptu topic and the appointed members answer it within a time limit.
Four to five people answer each time. After the session is over, everyone votes.

Preparatory speeches.
This is an opportunity to present a speech. Members give their speeches according to the allotted time.
After the session is over, the audience is asked to write their thoughts on a comment form and vote at the end of the session.

Commentary.
The member designated as the commentator gives his or her comments on the speech.
The audience votes at the end.

Comprehensive commentary
The member nominated to be the overall commentator moderates the commentary session, and also comments on what was good about the meeting as a whole, as well as points for improvement.

Announcement of results 〉

The Best Table Topics, Best Commentary, and Best Speech awards are announced.
Awards will be presented and photos will be taken.

After-meeting
After the meeting, an after-party will be held at a nearby izakaya (Japanese-style pub) (participation is optional).
You can talk with members of various ages and industries and get advice on your speech.
